Children and Youth
An energetic team leads our church school and youth programs. We have a wonderful nursery area that offers a safe, fun and nurturing environment for children from birth to 3 years of age. For children pre-K through 8th grade we have an exciting Church School Workshop Rotation program.
We start our church school in the Worship service. The children then adjourn to the Chapel, which provides an environment where they can learn some of the traditions, prayers & hymns common to our worship service.
Our curriculum teaches Bible stories and concepts utilizing a kid-friendly multimedia model. The children experience this through many different activities such as drama, music, art, computers, games and cooking.
Confirmation is offered to those who are in 9th grade and older.
Our church school sponsors wholesome and exciting youth activities throughout the year through Pilgrim Fellowship (grades 6-8) and Senior P.F.(grades 9-12). Some are meant to teach youth about missions and service, while others are meant to strengthen them in their journey of faith. Still others encourage them to share their talents.
